‘Undoubtedly Celtic’s Best player’ – Pundit Delighted with Celtic Boost

In Celtic’s recent match against St. Mirren, centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers was given a rest and replaced by Nat Phillips. However, Phillips did not have the most convincing performance, despite Celtic ultimately securing the victory.

Former Celtic player Mark Wilson, who is now a pundit, acknowledged that Carter-Vickers was missed during the match. In an interview with Sky Sports, Wilson stated that Carter-Vickers is undoubtedly Celtic’s best defender. Removing him from the side created a noticeable void, making his return a boost for both the fans and the players surrounding him.

Manager Brendan Rodgers had previously confirmed that Carter-Vickers would be back in action for their upcoming trip to the Highlands. His absence in the previous match was intentional and did not significantly impact the overall result. However, his presence was missed in the team’s defensive performance.

Having Carter-Vickers back in the side for the demanding journey to Dingwall this weekend will be a tremendous boost for Celtic. His return is expected to strengthen the team’s defensive capabilities, as Wilson pointed out.
