Premier League clubs are closely watching RB Leipzig’s willingness to offload ex-Chelsea forward Timo Werner, who has struggled to find form since returning to Germany.

Werner’s departure from Stamford Bridge back to Leipzig for a fee of around £17.5 million has raised eyebrows, considering his notable goal-scoring prowess prior to his time at Chelsea.

Despite his impressive Bundesliga goal tally before joining Chelsea, Werner’s goal-scoring touch hasn’t translated since returning to Leipzig. With only two goals in 13 matches across all competitions this season, Leipzig is reportedly open to letting him go.
