While Dragusin is not in a rush to depart from Genoa, his agent has acknowledged that an offer from a top Premier League club would certainly warrant consideration. It appears that Tottenham is now actively pursuing Dragusin and has initiated discussions with Genoa, as widely anticipated.
According to reports from Italian outlet Tutto Juve, talks are ongoing, but there exists a disparity between Spurs’ willingness to pay €25 million and Genoa’s valuation of the player at €30 million. However, efforts are being made to bridge this gap, with indications that the parties are drawing closer during the course of negotiations.
Tottenham’s manager, Ange Postecoglou, is eager to conduct transfer business early in the January window, and securing Dragusin’s services would represent a significant boost for the club.
Despite Genoa’s reluctance to part ways with the defender mid-season, the financial package offered by Tottenham could prove too lucrative for the Italian side to overlook. This suggests that while Genoa may not be initially inclined to lose the player, the potential financial gain may ultimately sway their decision.
