Tottenham Hotspur defensive midfielder Pape Matar Sarr, who has been a standout performer under new manager Ange Postecoglou, has provided an update on the unfortunate injury he sustained just before his scheduled AFCON fixtures.

Postecoglou expressed his thoughts on Sarr’s injury, stating, “Pape felt his hamstring and he’s upset because he was eager to join his national team for the big tournament. Sarr was forced to exit the field prematurely after just 30 minutes of play during the match against Bournemouth on New Year’s Eve. Despite his early goal, he was substituted just 20 minutes later.
