Alan Brazil Criticizes Rangers’ Manager Philippe Clement as “Moody and Arrogant” Following Celtic Defeat

Former Club Brugge manager, Philippe Clement, who took over the reins at Ibrox this season, has faced criticism from Alan Brazil for his alleged “moody and arrogant” demeanor, sparking controversy in the aftermath of Rangers’ recent loss to Celtic.

Despite Clement’s early success, which includes guiding Rangers into the last 16 of the Europa League and capturing the League Cup, Brazil, a former Scotland international, expressed his reservations about the Belgian manager’s conduct.

During his talkSPORT breakfast show, Brazil stated, “I don’t like the Rangers coach Clement. I think he’s moody and arrogant. One of the Celtic players was down, O’Riley, he’d done his nose I think and the camera just caught Clement saying, ‘hey, hey, stretcher get him off.’ It was right in the face, it was a head injury and I’m like ‘woah, calm down mate’.”

While acknowledging Clement’s managerial acumen, Brazil’s critique centered on what he perceived as an attitude reminiscent of “grizzliness” akin to Ten Hag, emphasizing the need for caution and composure, especially in sensitive situations such as player injuries.
