Tottenham Hotspur seems to be steering away from a direct Harry Kane replacement as the January transfer window unfolds, according to journalist Dean Jones’s revelation on GIVEMESPORT.

The spotlight has been on VfB Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy, a striker attracting substantial attention from Premier League sides and expected to join England’s top flight this month. Spurs have been linked as a possible destination, although Guirassy’s national duty commitments might limit his immediate availability.

However, recent suggestions indicate that Spurs aren’t actively pursuing a conventional center-forward. Instead, they appear to be closing in on the acquisition of Timo Werner from RB Leipzig, as outlined by BBC Sport.
