“West Ham Plotting Audacious Move for Leeds Ace – Massive Bid Looms, 49ers Open to Shockingly Low £13 Million Deal!”

January 8, 2024

Star player’s future at Leeds has become a hot topic again, and as the January transfer window kicks off, new Premier League suitors are reportedly eyeing a bid for the talented youngster.

The 20-year-old Gnonto, who arrived at Leeds 18 months ago from Zurich under Jesse Marsch’s management, initially made a mark with eight goals and assists. However, this season, his role has diminished, resulting in just one goal and an assist in 22 appearances, primarily off the bench, with Cree Summerville and Dan James securing starting spots.

December reports hinted at Leeds giving Gnonto the ‘green light’ to depart, garnering interest from Italian sides like Roma, Lazio, Fiorentina, and ongoing talks with Everton, with a speculated fee of £13 million.

Now, new reports from Dean Jones via Sports Lens suggest Fulham and West Ham’s interest in Gnonto, with West Ham potentially making an inquiry in the ‘coming days.’ While Everton’s pursuit isn’t surprising, the attention from Fulham and West Ham raises eyebrows.

A move to London might entice Gnonto, especially considering both clubs are not battling relegation. His contract extends till 2027, but the reported £13 million fee seems undervalued, given his limited playtime.

Should Leeds entertain offers closer to £20 million or beyond, especially from an overseas club, it might sway their decision to part ways with the talented prospect.
