Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Radu Dragusin finalized his medical examination at Tottenham Hotspur and has officially penned a contract running until June 2029, fetching him an annual salary of €3 million (£2.5 million).

The prolonged saga encompassing Radu Dragusin’s future seems to be nearing its conclusion, with Tottenham securing the coveted 21-year-old after a heated battle with Bayern Munich for his signature.

Tottenham had reached a personal agreement with Dragusin about a week ago, but Bayern Munich’s recent entry into the race for the Genoa defender added tension. Reports from Gianluca Di Marzio indicated that Dragusin faced a significant decision last night.

However, the morning brought clarity as Dragusin remained committed to his prior decision, choosing to join North London. He arrived at Hotspur Way earlier today to undergo medical examinations in preparation for the move.

Fabrizio Romano previously disclosed the deal’s specifics between Spurs and Genoa, citing a transfer fee of €25 million plus an additional €5 million in potential add-ons (£21.5 million plus £4.3 million), alongside Djed Spence’s loan move to Italy until the season’s end.

Taking to Instagram, Romano delved into the finer points of Dragusin’s fresh agreement with Spurs, stating, “Radu Dragusin has just completed medical at Spurs ground, deal sealed! Dragusin signs a contract valid until June 2029 on €3m salary per season, the agreement will be official soon. Spurs will pay €25m fee plus €5m add-ons easy to reach, Djed Spence joins Genoa on loan with option.”
