The Sky Sports Germany journalist tweeted that the England international is expected to undergo his medical at Rush Green on Thursday, paving the way for his loan move from Manchester City.
Plettenberg indicates that the deal will incorporate an option-to-buy clause valued at £40 million in the summer, providing West Ham with the opportunity to secure the 28-year-old midfielder’s permanent switch to the London Stadium.
The deal seems close to completion, contingent on a smooth medical examination.
