JUST IN: West Ham Star Player Might Secure a Permanent Departure Within the ‘Upcoming Hours’ – Report

January 27, 2024

According to CaughtOffside, Pablo Fornals is on the brink of leaving West Ham United, with a deal expected to be confirmed in the next few hours. It is reported that the Spanish midfielder is no longer in David Moyes’ plans and negotiations with Real Betis have reached a decisive stage.

Fornals seems open to the move and personal terms are expected to be a formality. Despite injury and availability issues in the team, Fornals has not been a prominent figure in the squad. With his contract set to expire at the end of the season, it is believed that the club is looking to cash in on the midfielder.

It has been rumored that Fornals has been eager to return to Spain and the opportunity to reunite with former Hammers coach Manuel Pellegrini is appealing to him. With Kalvin Phillips joining the midfield options and the possible addition of Ibrahim Osman before the deadline, it appears that the club has adequate cover in the positions that Fornals can play in.

While Fornals has been a solid player for West Ham, it seems that the club has outgrown the need for him and parting ways is in the best interest of everyone involved.
