Leicester is standing firm in their decision not to sell Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in the January transfer window, despite interest from Brentford and Brighton.

Both clubs are unwilling to meet Leicester’s asking price of over £40m for the 25-year-old midfielder.

With little time left in the transfer window, Leicester is unlikely to find a suitable replacement for Dewsbury-Hall, making it even less likely for them to consider selling him.

Financial constraints and adherence to regulations also limit Leicester’s ability to bolster their squad during this window.

Manager Enzo Maresca sees Dewsbury-Hall as an integral part of the team’s push for promotion and has no desire to see him leave.

Dewsbury-Hall himself may not be inclined to make a move unless it’s to a club in the upper echelons of the Premier League, as he continues to contribute significantly to Leicester’s success in the Championship.

Having scored nine goals and provided nine assists this season, Dewsbury-Hall has proven his worth to the club, where he has developed through their academy and become a mainstay in the squad with over 100 appearances.
