Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca recently addressed the future of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, stating that Arsenal is a big admirer of the English midfielder. Despite the Foxes’ 3-0 win over Birmingham City in the FA Cup, Dewsbury-Hall was not involved in the game. Maresca revealed to Leicester Live that the 25-year-old was given a rest for Tuesday’s game, along with Harry Winks and Jannik Vestergaard.

Arsenal, Newcastle, and Everton are all reportedly interested in the central midfielder, with Leicester placing a £30m price tag on him following talks with Brighton & Hove Albion. Losing Dewsbury-Hall before the transfer window closes next month would be a significant setback for Leicester’s promotion hopes.

Speaking about Dewsbury-Hall’s future, Maresca emphasized that it’s ultimately a question for the club and not for him. He expressed concern about the player’s potential departure but emphasized that he will share his thoughts if and when something happens.

Dewsbury-Hall made his debut for the senior team at the age of 21 while on loan at League One Blackpool and later gained prominence during his spell at Luton Town in the Championship. Last season, he started in 28 Premier League matches and played a critical role for the Foxes despite their relegation to the Championship. This season, he has already scored nine goals and provided nine assists in the league.

Maresca is apprehensive about Arsenal and Brighton’s interest in Dewsbury-Hall, as the midfielder would be an ideal fit for the role previously occupied by Granit Xhaka at Arsenal. The 25-year-old has proven his value and potential as a key player in the Championship and would be a significant asset to any Premier League team. However, Maresca is hopeful that no offers from rival teams will be too tempting for Leicester to refuse.
