“BREAKING: West Ham’s Big Deal Crumbles in Absolute Mayhem!” – Unruly Character to Blame?

January 28, 2024

West Ham’s attempt to sign Ibrahim Osman has fallen through due to an unexpected demand from an unauthorized agent, per BT’s report.

According to Danish journalist Farzam Abolhosseini, Mitch Bakkovens demanded an exorbitant agent’s fee and disrupted the deal, despite not being Osman’s legitimate representative.

The proposed £15.5m transfer was derailed as Bakkovens insisted on being paid millions in Danish Kroner, even though Osman is actually represented by English agent Darryl Powell, as confirmed by the Danish FA.

The situation has caused chaos in the negotiations, with Bakkovens demanding money that he is not entitled to and disrupting a deal that seemed close to completion.

The club must be incredibly frustrated by this turn of events, especially as the transfer window deadline looms. If Bakkovens is not supposed to be involved, it should be possible for the deal to proceed without his interference.

Time is running out, and West Ham’s pursuit of Osman, who has proven potential, is at risk of falling through due to a ridiculous situation caused by an unauthorized agent.
