“Unbelievable Drone Footage Reveals Astonishing Transformation of Everton’s Latest Stadium Upgrade!”

A breathtaking new drone image has captured the latest milestone at Everton’s future stadium, showcasing seats now installed on all four sides. This significant development comes just months after the inaugural royal blue seats brightened up the construction site in October, marking a vibrant beginning to the seating setup in the stadium’s north east corner. With a capacity of 52,888, Everton’s new home at Bramley-Moore Dock is swiftly taking shape, the upper sections nearing completion and the initial batch of seats in the north stand’s lower tier now in place.

This progress also highlights a key achievement in the stadium’s construction, indicating the completion of roofing and the removal of large cranes, prerequisites for the installation of lower tier seating. The six-month seat installation phase is now well underway, anticipated to wrap up by Easter.

Paul Harvey, the construction manager at Laing O’Rourke overseeing the stadium bowl’s works, emphasized the complexity and risk involved in coordinating numerous activities, especially the seat installation, which might seem straightforward but involves drilling 50,000 holes while addressing safety concerns like hand-arm vibration. To mitigate these risks, Bluecube, the company installing the seats, introduced innovative drilling rigs and a suction system, significantly enhancing safety standards by reducing hand-arm vibration risks and dust inhalation.

Scott Blyth, senior supervisor for Bluecube seating, expressed pride in contributing to one of the most significant stadium constructions, noting the logistical and physical challenges of delivering and installing 3,600 seats weekly. This process involves meticulous planning, from installing handrails to ensuring the correct number of seats per row, all while maintaining a strict delivery schedule to meet project deadlines.

Everton’s new stadium is not just a construction project but a landmark development, bringing together cutting-edge safety measures, logistical prowess, and the collective effort of teams dedicated to creating a state-of-the-art venue for fans.
