Brendan Rodgers RAVES About Celtic Unity and PRAISES ‘Dynamic’ Star Player in EPIC St Johnstone Victory!

Brendan Rodgers was effusive in his praise for the unity within the Celtic squad and their devoted fanbase as they reclaimed the top spot in the Scottish Premiership with a commanding 3-1 victory over St Johnstone.

The defending champions clinched a comprehensive win against St Johnstone at Parkhead, with goals from Kyogo Furuhashi, Nicolas Kuhn, and James Forrest, before Connor Smith scored a late consolation for the visitors.

“I’m delighted with the team’s performance,” Rodgers expressed to BBC Radio Scotland. “The atmosphere in the stadium was electric today, with a strong connection between the players and supporters. The fans were right behind the team from the start, and it really made a difference.”

“We scored three goals and could have had more. The team has had its ups and downs, facing criticism at times. But today, the players put in a fantastic effort. They executed the game plan perfectly. We showed good attacking intent, and Kuhn’s involvement was particularly crucial.”

Rodgers singled out the performance of German winger Nicolas Kuhn, highlighting his improvement since joining the club in January. Despite initial challenges, Kuhn showed great promise in recent matches and played a key role in Celtic’s attacking prowess against St Johnstone.

“Kuhn faced obstacles when he first arrived due to weight loss from a dental issue. But with time, he has regained his strength and agility, making a significant impact on the team. His speed and dynamism are evident, and he is proving his worth with every game. It’s important to be patient with him, and now he’s demonstrating why he was signed,” Rodgers remarked.
