The underperforming left back recently secured a loan move to Brazilian outfit Internacional, seeking a fresh start after failing to leave a mark under Brendan Rodgers’ management.
Bernabei’s debut with his new team faced a setback when he missed his connecting flight to Brazil in Amsterdam last week, delaying his kickoff on the pitch. However, the 23-year-old is now set to make his first appearance in the Gaucho Cup clash against Juventude after receiving approval from the Brazilian FA.
