Heart & Hand slammed the Dens Park pitch conditions as a “complete joke” following the latest postponement of the Rangers v Dundee match.

Reacting on Twitter on April 10, the Gers podcast expressed frustration as footage surfaced showing referee Don Robertson conducting the final pitch inspection at 3.30pm, leading to the inevitable cancellation of the game due to unplayable areas.

While the official had initially deemed the pitch playable during his 11.30am inspection, heavy rain after that time rendered the surface unfit for play, resulting in the second postponement of the fixture.

With Rangers holding onto the second spot in the league behind Celtic by a mere point, the elusive rescheduled game looms, adding to the uncertainty surrounding the team’s fixtures.

Once again, the clash at Dens Park failed to take place, leaving doubt clouding the probability of rescheduling. The recurring issue at the Dundee stadium has disrupted multiple fixtures this season, upsetting teams and causing significant setbacks, notably affecting the Light Blues’ fixture list.
