In a recent episode of the Open Goal podcast, Halliday criticized Tavernier, stating, “You know what I think of Tav, right, but he’s one of the worst professional football players with his weak foot, and he’d admit that himself.” He attributed Tavernier’s error to a lack of confidence in using his left foot, leading him to make a risky play with his right foot.
