The contracts of Rangers’ John Lundstram and Borna Barišić are set to expire at the end of the season, and there have been efforts by Philippe Clement’s team to keep Lundstram at Ibrox. However, recent reports from the Turkish press suggest that Trabzonspor is eager to sign the duo from Rangers on a free transfer in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Just five days ago, Trabzon Haber reported that Lundstram had already agreed to move to the Turkish club, and this was corroborated by Sabah last Friday, which also claimed that Barišić has a deal in place to join Trabzonspor.

Sports Digitale journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu shared on social media platform X that both Lundstram and Barišić have finalized agreements with Trabzonspor and will not be with Philippe Clement’s squad at Ibrox next season. Reportedly, the 30-year-old Lundstram has signed a three-year deal with Trabzonspor, while Barišić, aged 31, has agreed to a two-year contract with an option for another year.

Having joined Rangers in 2021 and 2018 respectively, Lundstram and Barišić will depart as free agents to Trabzonspor in the upcoming transfer window.
