Sunderland’s Striker Target on Verge of Departure from West Ham Amidst Interest from West Brom and Everton

Reports indicate that West Ham is prepared to release young striker Divin Mubama on a free transfer once his contract ends this summer. Despite attracting interest from various clubs during the January transfer window, such as Sunderland, West Brom, and Everton, the 19-year-old forward has had limited playing time this season, making just five appearances in the Premier League. Having progressed through West Ham’s academy, he has featured in 18 first-team games.

Following discussions about Mubama’s future, it’s been leaked by Football Insider that West Ham has no intention of extending his contract. The same sources suggest that former Sunderland manager David Moyes is also expected to part ways with West Ham when his current deal concludes.

Last summer, Sunderland brought in four new strikers, but none have managed to truly shine in the Championship. Consequently, the Black Cats are now on the lookout to reinforce their attacking options for the upcoming season.
