A Celtic rising star found himself at a career crossroads last summer, contemplating a potential transfer away from the club. However, the tide has turned, and Liam Scales is now entrenched in his ambitions for a long-lasting tenure at Parkhead.

Inking a fresh contract binding him to Celtic until 2028, Scales’ journey took a detour through a loan spell at Aberdeen last season after his initial struggle to break into the Hoops lineup post his switch from Shamrock Rovers in 2021.
