SHOCKING: Doomsday for Rangers as Another Star Faces Possible Season-Ending Injury

May 8, 2024

An important Rangers player has encountered a significant setback due to a muscle injury, raising doubts about his return this season, as per an update by injury expert Dr. Rajpal Brar.

Rangers facing injury setbacks
As Philippe Clement’s squad gears up for a crucial phase in their campaign to edge past Celtic and claim the Scottish Premiership title, injuries are posing a challenge. The Gers trail three points behind their rivals, setting the stage for a pivotal showdown at Parkhead this Saturday.

Injuries are proving troublesome for Rangers, with key players sidelined. Midfielder Ryan Jack has been absent since the Europa League match against Benfica in March. Defenders Leon Balogun and Connor Goldson are also sidelined, with Balogun possibly departing as his contract ends this summer.

Blow to Rangers with injury setback
In an interview with Ibrox News, Brar expressed doubts about Jack’s return this season due to a muscle issue, emphasizing the need for a cautious approach upon his comeback.

“If his immediate return is under discussion, there are no plans for surgery this month, though it could be considered in the off-season. The club is exploring long-term solutions for his condition, suggesting a range of potential approaches. It appears to be a muscular setback that’s proving difficult to overcome, with no guarantees of his return by the season’s end, even after resuming full training.”

Jack’s absence comes as a setback for Rangers, given his experience and leadership with 210 appearances for the club, including guiding them to the Premiership title in 2020/21. His absence will be felt in crucial matches ahead, including the forthcoming clash against Celtic.

Furthermore, questions loom over Jack’s future with Rangers, considering his contract situation. It remains uncertain if he will extend his stay at Ibrox or depart as a free agent. Given his age, a departure seems probable, marking an end to his seven-year tenure at the club as a valuable contributor.
