Leicester Shock Fans by Reaching Out to Secure Enzo Maresca Target – Mega Transfer Worth €15m on the Cards

Leicester City have shown keen interest in signing Lazio goalkeeper Chrīstos Mandas, according to reports in Friday’s edition of Corriere dello Sport. The Foxes have reportedly reached out to inquire about the talented young goalkeeper.

Mandas, who stepped up impressively in the absence of Ivan Provedel due to injury, has been in fine form in recent weeks, keeping five clean sheets and conceding only six goals in the last nine matches. Despite Provedel’s return to full fitness, Mandas has retained his place in the starting lineup, drawing attention from Leicester City and other clubs.

Manager Enzo Maresca, who led Leicester to win the Championship and secure a return to the Premier League, is looking to bolster the squad for the top-flight campaign. Although Mads Hermansen has been the first-choice goalkeeper this season, Maresca is considering adding Mandas to his list of transfer targets.

While Lazio is keen on retaining Mandas, the club has not ruled out the possibility of a transfer in the upcoming window. Both Mandas and Provedel are reportedly attracting interest from other Serie A clubs, leaving the door open for a potential move.

Leicester’s pursuit of Mandas could hinge on the response they receive to their inquiry. Should they decide to pursue the deal, Corriere dello Sport suggests that Leicester may need to pay around €15m to secure the services of the promising goalkeeper.
