BREAKING: Sheffield Wednesday and Swansea City in FIERCE BATTLE for Ex-Chelsea & Portsmouth Goal Machine

July 5, 2024

Sheffield Wednesday, Swansea City, and Oxford United have expressed strong interest in acquiring Myles Peart-Harris from Brentford, reports suggest.

Peart-Harris, a talented playmaker, was initially linked with Wednesday back in January. Although a move to Hillsborough didn’t materialize at that time, Brentford sent him on loan to Portsmouth, where he played a key role in their promotion to the Championship.

Recent reports indicate renewed interest from Sheffield, with Football Insider claiming that the Owls are eager to secure him on loan. However, Swansea and Oxford are also reportedly in the mix for the 21-year-old attacking midfielder. All three clubs have reportedly made inquiries about Peart-Harris, who has been with Brentford since 2021 following his time at Chelsea’s academy and appearances for England at the youth level.

After loan stints at Forest Green Rovers and Portsmouth, where he showcased his versatility in various positions, Peart-Harris impressed with two goals in his brief spell at Fratton Park during their League One title-winning campaign.

Sheffield Wednesday has been active in the transfer market, adding depth across various positions with signings like Yan Valery, Max Lowe, Ben Hamer, Svante Ingelsson, Jamal Lowe, and Olaf Kobacki to strengthen the squad under manager Danny Rohl.
