Star Player Vanished from Leeds United Training Footage as Explosive Rumors Swirl Over Shocking Departure!

Leeds United’s latest inside training video might have revealed a significant clue about the next potential departure from the club.

The club’s social media team shared footage on YouTube of Joe Rothwell’s first full training session since joining Leeds on a season-long loan from Bournemouth. Rothwell completed his move on Thursday, and his first opportunity to train with the team came the following day.

A full pre-season could be beneficial for Rothwell as he integrates into the squad, with his first appearance likely in the friendly against Harrogate Town on Friday.

Last summer, Leeds had no new signings in their pre-season squad, contributing to their slow start to the season.

However, the latest training video showed the likes of Crysencio Summerville, Willy Gnonto, and Georginio Rutter working hard at Thorp Arch. Notably absent was Glen Kamara, amid reports that he has agreed personal terms with Rennes.

Planet Sport reported that Kamara is likely to be the next player to leave Elland Road, according to a source close to Leeds. The absence of Kamara from the training footage might support these claims, though it remains to be seen if he missed the session due to an injury or because he was finalizing a transfer.

Journalists close to Leeds have repeatedly stated that the club has no intention of selling Kamara this summer. Having already lost midfielder Archie Gray, Leeds would be short in that position even with Rothwell’s arrival.

Leeds signed Kamara for around £5 million nearly a year ago, but a bid of about double that might persuade them to sell. Rothwell is not seen as a replacement for Kamara if he leaves, making it more likely that Leeds will need to secure a high-quality replacement given their summer finances.
