Walton joined Ipswich from Brighton in 2021 and quickly established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper. However, injuries and strong performances from Vaclav Hladky limited his playing time last season.
With Hladky now gone and Ipswich signing Arijanet Muric from Burnley, Walton might be open to a move where he can secure more game time. Derby could be the perfect destination for him.
