Reportedly, Sheffield United is exploring other options as Leicester City has set a £1.5 million price tag on goalkeeper Daniel Iversen. Despite being loaned out six times by Leicester, Iversen has yet to make a breakthrough at the King Power Stadium.

Recently on loan at Stoke City, Iversen has played for teams like Preston North End and Rotherham United in the past. Derby County and Sheffield United have expressed interest in the Danish keeper, but both clubs have been deterred by the financial demands as revealed by journalist Alan Nixon.

Leicester is asking for £1.5 million for Iversen in addition to a £25,000-per-week contract. The possibility of a loan move seems unlikely as interested parties are being encouraged to seek alternatives.

Iversen is eager to move on and revitalize his career with a fresh start. However, there might need to be some negotiation regarding the financial aspects for a deal to be agreed upon.

Currently, Sheffield United has Ivo Grbic and Adam Davies as their senior goalkeepers after Wes Foderingham departed and joined West Ham United after his Blades contract expired.
