To secure his services, Luton might have to meet Cardiff’s asking price of ‘£10 million-plus’, a valuation that seems reasonable given McGuinness is tied down with a contract until 2027.
Although Cardiff holds the stance of not needing to offload McGuinness, the allure of a hefty transfer fee could sway their decision. For Luton, landing McGuinness would be a notable acquisition as they aim for a strong Championship campaign following their return from the Premier League.
