In a recent announcement on their website, Sheffield Wednesday has issued a firm warning to fans attending matches at Hillsborough stadium. The South Yorkshire club emphasized the importance of genuine merchandise and urged supporters to refrain from wearing counterfeit shirts during home games.

The club’s statement strongly cautioned that any individual caught wearing a fake shirt within Hillsborough could face ejection from the stadium, with relevant authorities notified accordingly. Sheffield Wednesday emphasized its commitment to protecting its brand, stating that staff at the official club shop would not customize counterfeit shirts by adding numbers or letters.
