Nathan Jones isn’t denying reports that Charlton Athletic is on the verge of adding experienced striker Danny Hylton to their lineup. The 35-year-old, who has been training with the team since preseason, is expected to sign a temporary contract, mirroring the deal done with defender Dan Potts.

Potts, who recently joined Charlton after being a free agent post his departure from Luton, was part of the squad for today’s 1-1 draw against Rotherham United. Hylton, originally recruited by Jones during their time at Luton, showcased his goal-scoring prowess by netting 21 goals in consecutive seasons, helping the team secure promotions.
