Wolves’ player expresses frustration over limited playing time

Tommy Doyle, the rising star for Wolves, has opened up about his frustration over the lack of game time at Molineux. The 22-year-old midfielder, a product of the Manchester City youth system, found himself on loan at Wolves last season before the club acquired him for £4.3m this summer.

Despite high hopes, Doyle has only managed 65 minutes of Premier League action without any starts, leading to his sense of disappointment and eagerness to contribute more on the field.

In a candid statement to the Express & Star, Doyle voiced his belief that he deserves a spot in the starting lineup without question. “A hundred per cent I believe I should be starting,” he emphasized.

Acknowledging his dissatisfaction, he admitted, “I cannot lie and say I have been happy, of course, it is frustrating for me.” Drawing on his experience from last season’s loan spell where he featured in eleven Premier League matches, Doyle remains determined to carve out a crucial role in Gary O’Neil’s squad as the current campaign progresses.
