I need a big Club to sign me, I have no interest in playing for wolves: Sunderland prodigy set to ditch Wolves for mega move to Premier League giants

Football Insider sources suggest that although the Wolves are keenly interested in teenager Chris Rigg, surprisingly, the erudite youngster might be expected to quit Sunderland for a big club soon. In the Inside Track segment of the Football Insider podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke suggested that Rigg needs to think about his options because he’s been called up by a number of more massive clubs.

Rigg, the centre back has been prominent for Sunderland in the Championship this season at a tender age of 17 and has been rewarded with the Young Player of the Month in September. Though, Wolves have shown interest in the midfielder, but other competing clubs in the premier leagues such as Crystal Palace are also pursuing the signing of the player in order to capture talents from the championship.

Apart from Wolves and Crystal Palace, other Premier League clubs including Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid have been keeping tabs on Rigg. So much elite interest will make it difficult for Wolves to get his signature especially with the club sitting at 19th in the English Premier league currently.

With Sunderland performing exceptionally well in the Championship being at the top after 15 games to be specific the time where the club might take Wolves’ place next season is not far. This race promises to be a tough one for the Smĕla regarding the signing of the talented teenager Chris Rigg as several other clubs from the next higher division are also interested in him.
