With January transfer window fast approaching, speculation start to follow the Wolves team suggesting that there will be new faces in the team soon.
Opinions have it that Wolves top target for acquisitions in the January transfer window is a new centre-back for the club in the English top tier.

Out of those players, one special gem is deemed “disposable” thus leaves everyone guessing whether he will be a part of the club in the near future or not.
When it comes to Wolves pre/transfers in the January window Goncalo Guedes appears to be the client most likely to leave. That could clear the way for new arrivals in the coming weeks, especially if underused talents such as Guedes are let go.
Despite failing to produce for Sporting during his time with Benfica, Guedes has been a mere benchwarmer in his first season back at the newly promoted Al Far.bank
Although he rarely gets a chance, the Portuguese winger has made an impact playing on the field, also recently contributing an assist in a game against Crystal Palace.
While the young forward’s improved displays have been praised, less has been made about the player’s future, with football writer Liam Keen remarking that Guedes could be considered extra in Valencia.
Speaking about Guedes Leen said: “Of course, there is a great number of talented footballers in that position, so there can be a chance that he will leave the club based on the offers received. Although he has recovered, his inclusion remains selective as Gary O’Neil continues to leave his future at the club in doubt, contributing to rumors of a transfer in the January transfer window.
Although appreciating Guedes’ good efforts, Keen had no problem with the player moving elsewhere, but a better role to give the true potential.
Even when he has been drafted in to play for Wolves, Guedes’ lack of consistent starts in the Premier League this season is still baffling.
Others such as Hwan Hee-Chan and Pablo Sarabia have had their fair share of wobbly performances in the team but one can always rely on Guedes to do a good job in the few minutes he is given.
If Wolves do decide to sell Guedes then getting to see a lot of him could help the Old Gold establish whether or not he represents a loss if he departs, one way or another.
