Corberan Unleashes Fury, Axes West Brom Disaster as Bruce’s “Massive Asset” Turns to Dust

West Bromwich Albion’s promotion push was slowed down to a halt when it ended in a 10th draw of the season with Preston North End to see the team occupy the seventh position in the table. When one talks about a winning mentality, it seems to be missing from Carlos Corberan’s side, and some senior players must change their gear in the game against Preston. The return to action is needed against Sheffield United next to fight for getting the next season up and running.

Corberan seems to be frustrated whenever his team does not play as expected with some big talents such as Alex Mowatt below their standard form. However, the team did not have the attacking initiative, even though Mowatt got her individual passing accuracy right. As for the goal-scoring threat, Josh Maja was week at his attempt, which in a way exacerbate West Brom’s attacking crisis.

A return to the pitch for defensive armor Kyle Bartley was not adequate to stop Emil Riis Jacobson from scoring an equalizer for Preston, thus concluding the match. With Corberan expected to use Maja and Bartley to bring changes, Jed Wallace remains a doubt in terms of Blackpool’s future.

Such a reduced participation indicates a possible departure from West Brom because, from the midfield, Wallace has had a raw deal compared to the previous season. Plans for him are likely to be made soon especially considering his big wage demands and which places him among the best paid players of the team along with Darnell Furlong. Nevertheless, this is not an easy period for Corberan in front of some of the decisions related to Wallace in the near future at the club.

This means while the likes of Daryl Dike at West Brom also earns a high wage but the player has been limited to the bench by a Knock. These financial strategies which Wallace once boasted about regrettable after the lions’ impressive first season in the competitive Kenya Premier League. The club may decide to sell him because, as seen as manager Corberan prepared the team for the important period ahead. The decision would have consequences to their place on the table in the future.
