Celtic FC has cautioned fans that are heading to Zagre for the Champions League match against Dintra Zagreb. There are serious concerns of violence because the club’s management has confirmed that several fans have already been threatened by the aggressive locals.

Given that thousands of Hoops fans are expected to flock the Croatian capital, the club has called on them to be very cautious. There are several reported cases of hooligan attacks on Celtic fans in Zagreb, a club source responded. We hereby humbly encourage all our fans to stay alert and report any incidence to the police.”

PROTECTION MEASURES PUT IN TO PRACTICE

For the lovers of the premier league soccer, there are strict measures that should be expected when accessing the Maksimir Stadium include searching of bags and searching of persons down to the stripping level. The following items have been banned from the stadium:
