Matheus Cunha of Wolverhampton Wanderers has raised eyebrows about his future in the team making everyone including propagators of Manchester United rumor. The Brazilian international, who has performed remarkably this season, is reported to be close to a move to Old Trafford, and continued his play acting prima donna Like act.
Cunha has been accused of being disloyal after showing loyalty to former Wolves head coach Gary O’Neil who was dismissed after the team’s loss to Ipswich. Exciting performances by the 25-year-old have been and seen by United manager, Marco Amorim as well as being targeted by him as a possible addition to the Old Trafford squad.
Taking the footballing fraternity by storm, Cunha was recently found ‘liking’ an Instagram comment that read, ‘Manchester United soon.’ The suggestion that the defender might move on half-way through has fuelled the rumors on the future of Cunha in Wolves and most people think that his future at the club appears to be very bleak.
However, the threat of a looming suspension could seize the operation of such measures. Cunha has been accused of misconduct by the FA after squaring up to a member of Ipswich staff and depending on the severity of the ban, could be out for a number of weeks. This may turn down the light on United’s desire to acquire a new player in January since Amorim may not be willing to invest in a player in anticipation of a long-term injury spell.
