Speaking to Italian media, Muric expressed his desire to secure a permanent club and indicated that he sees his future away from Ipswich Town, stating, “I enjoyed moving around and changing a lot, but now I’m 27 and I hope to find a permanent club for a few years.”

Despite a challenging start at Ipswich Town, Muric has found success at Sassuolo in Serie A. With four clean sheets and 10 goals conceded in 10 league appearances, reports suggest that Sassuolo is keen on acquiring Muric permanently from ITFC.

Given Muric’s impressive performances in Italy, it appears likely that Ipswich Town will not obstruct his permanent move. A permanent exit could benefit all parties involved, with Muric seeking stability and both the player and his loan club content with the current arrangement.

Considering his strong showings away from Ipswich Town, it seems reasonable for the club to let Muric depart permanently. While there may be suggestions that ITFC should give him another chance to prove his worth, selling him could help recoup most of the potential £15m outlay. Muric’s desire for a stable home and his positive loan spell suggest that a permanent exit is the best option for everyone, with Sassuolo poised to secure a deal as they work towards rebuilding following their promotion from Serie B.
