Kieffer Moore, currently a standout striker for Wrexham, is in a race against time to recover from a hamstring injury in order to face his former club, Ipswich Town, this weekend in Suffolk.

The towering 6ft 5ins forward has been in stellar form for the Welsh side this season, becoming their leading scorer with nine goals in 17 matches across all competitions. Moore joined Wrexham from Sheffield United in the summer and has been instrumental in their success.

Moore has a history with Ipswich Town, as he previously helped them achieve promotion to the Premier League during the 2023/24 season. Initially signing for Ipswich on loan from Bournemouth, Moore made a significant impact by scoring seven goals in 18 games. This represented his second stint with the club, as he was initially signed by Mick McCarthy for a modest sum in 2017 before later moving to Barnsley in a lucrative deal.

However, Moore’s participation is in doubt due to a hamstring injury that led to his withdrawal from the Wales squad during the international break.
