According to John Wenham, there appears to be the possibility of “a potential swap deal on the horizon” involving Tottenham and Juventus, featuring Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Samuel Iling-Junior.

Sky Sports News previously highlighted (21 December) the Serie A’s interest in Tottenham’s Danish midfielder. Meanwhile, Tottenham has expressed interest in acquiring Juventus’s own midfielder, Iling-Junior, as reported by the Evening Standard (5 December), with a valuation of £15.5 million.

With Tottenham’s association with Fabio Paratici and links to Juventus in consideration, Wenham believes that a viable arrangement could materialize in January.

“A recurring topic is the potential transfer of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to Juventus,” Wenham conveyed to Tottenham News. “While I’m unsure of Juventus’s financial situation, I do know that Tottenham has shown interest in Samuel Iling-Junior, indicating a possible prospect of a swap deal being explored.”

Wenham added, “Among the various teams that Tottenham might engage in a swap deal with, Juventus stands out, especially given the connection to Paratici.”
