The ongoing transfer saga involving brilliant player Radu Dragusin continues to unfold with recent reports detailing significant progress behind the scenes.

While Dragusin has reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with Spurs, negotiations with Genoa are ongoing, and the two clubs are yet to reach a consensus.

Initial talks began with Spurs presenting a verbal bid of €23 million, which fell short of Genoa’s €30 million valuation.

Sky Sports journalist Rudy Galetti has disclosed the latest development, indicating Spurs’ intention to submit a second offer in closer alignment with Genoa’s valuation, signaling an escalated pursuit.

Galetti emphasized that the decisive move rests with the Italian club, who will be expected to respond to the proposal shortly.

In his update shared on X, Galetti stated, “Tottenham are intensifying their efforts to sign Radu Dragusin and – as revealed yesterday – are preparing to make another proposal soon. It will then be up to #Genoa – whose initial request was €30m fixed – to provide the response: crucial moments.”

Despite the initial disparity in valuations, Spurs remain optimistic that a revised offer could serve as a potential bridge between the two sides.

The pressing need for Tottenham to fortify their defensive ranks has amplified the urgency for chairman Levy to swiftly conclude the deal and address the team’s requirement for a new center-back.
