“Sensational Transfer Update: Premier League Star Closing In on Rangers Move! Celtic Flop Set for Shock Exit from New Club”

January 5, 2024

The January transfer window is in full swing, offering clubs the opportunity to strengthen their squads as they pursue their season goals. Both Celtic and Rangers have started the new year with impressive victories in the Scottish Premiership, with Celtic leading the table with 54 points.

While Philippe Clement’s side has been striving to narrow the gap with their closest rivals, they currently sit eight points adrift from the summit. As competitive football resumes following the winter break, here are some of the latest headlines for the two Glasgow giants.

Nottingham Forest’s Emmanuel Dennis, currently on loan with Süper Lig side Basaksehir, is reportedly set to join Rangers. Nieuwsblad claims that Clement is keen to reunite with the Nigeria international after their time together at Club Brugge. Dennis, known for his versatility as an attacker, can operate anywhere across the front three as well as in the attacking midfield role.

Dennis had a mixed debut season in the Premier League after signing for Forest in 2022. While making 19 appearances, he only started six games, contributing two goals and two assists. With a move to Scotland on the horizon, it seems that he may be seeking greater stability away from his current loan spell.

Meanwhile, Albian Ajeti, who departed Celtic just four months ago, could be on the move again after losing favor with his new club. Despite joining Gaziantep in September, the 26-year-old has encountered a setback in his career progression in Turkey.

Reports from Gaziantep Pusula suggest that head coach Marius Sudumica has communicated to the club’s president that Ajeti is no longer part of his plans. The striker has made just four Süper Lig appearances, with limited playing time, and has struggled to secure a consistent role due to injuries, bench exclusions, and being left out of the squad entirely.
