As per journalist Tom Barclay’s update, it appears Tottenham’s Giovani Lo Celso might sit out the upcoming match against Manchester United due to a slight hamstring strain.

Tottenham Hotspur has faced continuous injury setbacks this season, leaving manager Ange Postecoglou grappling with constant squad changes. The absence of key players like Micky van de Ven, James Maddison, Cristian Romero, and Pape Sarr has disrupted the team’s stability, creating a revolving door on the injury list.

Amid these challenges, Giovani Lo Celso emerged as a valuable contributor to Spurs’ gameplay, showcasing his prowess with two goals and two assists in 12 appearances this season. His absence could be felt, especially given Maddison’s continued unavailability, affecting Spurs’ creative options.

However, according to The Sun’s Tom Barclay, it’s likely that the Argentine midfielder will miss the Premier League clash against Manchester United due to a hamstring concern. Barclay mentioned in a tweet: “Gio Lo Celso has a slight hamstring issue, per Paul O’Keefe, so is expected to sit out the Man Utd game as a precaution. Hopefully, it’s just a one-game absence. Given the midfield shortage, caution seems reasonable.”
