Sky Sports report that the Serie A giants are exploring the option of signing the Crystal Palace forward amid growing uncertainty surrounding Vlahovic’s future and inconsistent output from the club’s current striking options. Mateta’s contract situation in south London has only added fuel to the speculation.
The French striker remains a key figure for Palace, but his long-term future is unclear as his deal runs until 2027, a timeline that gives both club and player important decisions to make. Mateta has previously shown an interest in testing himself in Italy following past links with AC Milan, and Juventus have now entered the picture with enquiries about his availability this month.
Juventus’ forward line has struggled to deliver on expectations.
