According to talkSPORT, both Celtic and Crystal Palace had been monitoring Wilson’s situation and were prepared to move if he became available. Interest from Saudi Arabian clubs Al Ettifaq and Al Shabab had also been reported, with Wilson believed to have asked West Ham to assist in finding him a move earlier in the month. The club’s latest decision is expected to end that speculation.
