However, it now looks as though those negotiations have completely stalled, with a recurring issue once again rearing its head for Celtic fans.
Journalist Orazio Accomando revealed on social media Ghedjemis’ stance on a move and explained why Celtic’s interest in the French winger has now ended.

Now, the move appears to be firmly off after Accomando posted a deadline day update on social media.
Accomando said on X, “Frosinone, Ghedjemis set to stay. Celtic’s offer is well below the club’s asking price.”
Why Celtic have dodged a Fares Ghedjemis bullet
At £6.5m, Ghedjemis is far from the standard of player Celtic need at this stage.
With just a single season of top-flight football on his CV, the French winger has spent a large portion of his career drifting between the lower divisions of French and Italian football.
Recording eight goals and two assists in Serie B, that output does not suggest a player of genuine Celtic quality.
And when you compare him to the level of talent Celtic have previously secured for around £6m, such as Jota, Ghedjemis falls well short of that benchmark.
