Brighton is reported to be only open to offers ‘well in excess of £100m’ for young striker Evan Ferguson, who is attracting interest from Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham.

The 19-year-old talent has been making waves in the Premier League, having already scored five goals this season. Despite his young age, Ferguson has notched up 11 goals in 31 appearances for Brighton, making him a highly promising prospect.

Ferguson has also caught attention on the international stage, with three goals in eight appearances for the Republic of Ireland. Given his potential, bigger clubs in the Premier League are eyeing him, but any interested parties like Spurs, Manchester United and Chelsea will need to make a significant investment to acquire the young striker.

Following the sale of Moises Caicedo to Chelsea for £115m over the summer, Brighton is adamant that any offer for Ferguson must be substantial. In addition, the young talent recently signed a new contract, valid until 2029, with no reported release clause. This gives Brighton a strong position in any negotiations for the youngster.

For now, Ferguson is content at Brighton, where he plays regularly and even competes in European competitions, having made three appearances in the Europa League this season. Although currently with the Republic of Ireland squad, an injury concern may prevent his involvement in an upcoming match against Holland.

If a move materializes, it will likely be for a substantial sum considering Brighton’s firm stance.
