West Ham United has engaged in discussions with a captivating new forward as part of a potential double signing, including FC Nordsjaelland’s Ibrahim Osman, reports talkSPORT.

The club has been actively pursuing transfers, securing a loan deal for Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips, a valuable addition to manager David Moyes’ midfield.

With Edson Alvarez’s absence often causing midfield struggles, Phillips provides a valuable alternative or partner to the Mexican international.

Following the move for Phillips, West Ham has shifted its focus to Nordsjaelland’s Osman, a 19-year-old Ghanaian talent from the “Right to Dream” academy.

Osman, having made 16 appearances in the Danish Super Liga, is considered an exciting prospect for West Ham, with talks progressing swiftly since the club’s interest became public earlier this week.

In addition to Osman, talkSPORT suggests that West Ham is exploring a loan deal for Al-Ittihad forward Jota, who is keen to return to Europe before February 1.

The 24-year-old former Celtic star, eager to leave Saudi Arabia, could find an exit through West Ham. However, a substantial reduction in his £200,000-per-week salary may be required.

Talks have reportedly been held with Jota, who is seeking a departure from Al-Ittihad, as he was not even included in their domestic squad. During his final season at Celtic, Jota impressed with 11 goals and 11 assists, making him a “fascinating watch,” according to journalist Josh Bunting.
