According to journalist Graeme Bailey’s insights, despite Tottenham’s recent acquisition of Timo Werner, the club may still be considering adding another “exciting” 24-year-old forward to their roster. Spurs had sealed a loan deal for Werner, and even though he brings versatility and quality to the attacking front, there are indications that the north London club could be eyeing additional reinforcements.

One potential target is Antonio Nusa from Club Brugge, and recent reports suggest that Tottenham has initiated talks to secure his services in a buy-to-loan-back arrangement, signifying their ambition to strengthen their offensive options. On top of that, there are rumors that Tottenham is still in the mix for Jota, a player looking to leave Al-Ittihad, despite the arrival of Werner.

Bailey’s speculations indicate that Tottenham could be aiming to capitalize on Jota’s desire to move by adding him to their squad. Not only Jota, but several other Premier League clubs including West Ham, Everton, Brighton, and Newcastle United are also reportedly interested in the winger, highlighting the competition Tottenham might face in securing his signature.

Former Spurs right-back Alan Hutton has also expressed high regard for Jota, lauding his playing style and potential. With Nusa and Jota on their radar, it’s clear that despite the addition of Werner, Tottenham’s pursuit of attacking talent is far from over as they look to bolster their squad for the season ahead.
