West Ham Keen on Norwich Talent, Everton May Facilitate Agreement

January 27, 2024

West Ham is eyeing a transfer for Norwich’s up-and-coming talent Jonathan Rowe, and reportably, Everton might assist with David Moyes’ plans.

The Hammers are determined to bolster their team, especially in the offensive department. It’s believed that Rowe, a standout performer in the Championship, is at the top of Moyes’ wish list.

The 20-year-old has had a remarkable season at Carrow Road, earning recognition as one of their best academy prospects in recent years. With 12 goals in 27 league appearances, Rowe’s speed and skill make him a challenging opponent for defenders.

Moyes is eager for more creativity and goals from his forward players, particularly beyond Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus. While the Hammers may need to move players to make room for Rowe, Everton is reportedly interested in Said Benrahma, who has fallen out of favor in east London. This could allow for a deal that benefits both teams.

Everton, like West Ham, is looking to strengthen their offensive line, as they’ve encountered issues with scoring this season. Currently, West Ham is vying for a European spot in the Premier League, sitting in sixth place. In contrast, Everton is struggling and is just one point above the relegation zone after a 10-point deduction.
