TOTAL DISASTER! Leeds’ Summer Signing TORN APART Live on BBC Radio – Pundit DROPS BOMBSHELL ‘What Did He SOLVE?!’ Fans FURIOUS!

Leeds United have clearly been struggling in recent matches, and questions are now being raised over some of the players in the team.

Daniel Farke’s side played out a goalless draw at the Stadium of Light this weekend. They were under serious pressure during the game, but James Trafford did enough to help them leave with a clean sheet.

That match also meant Leeds have now played five draws in their first eight Premier League games. Eleven points at this stage of the season is far from a bad record, but some in the fanbase are growing concerned about these results.

Leeds have not scored more than one goal in a match since their 4-1 win over Newcastle a few weeks ago. The Whites have scored just two goals in their last four games in all competitions.

This lack of sharpness up front persists even with the club making some key additions in the summer. Harry Wilson was the marquee signing, while Jean-Matteo Bahoya arrived on loan. So far, the duo are yet to make an impact, leading to people around the club asking questions.

Jonny Buchan has singled out Wilson for his performances, questioning what the summer signing has solved since joining the club.

“I’m not saying he shouldn’t have been signed this summer because I think everyone knows that he is a quality player, but what problem did he solve by joining Leeds?” Buchan said on the Don’t Go To Bed Yet podcast.

“Because one of the problems was chance creation, and this is still a major problem so far this season.

“He is more suited to playing out wide, but we don’t play that way,” he added.

“I don’t know what problem they solved in the summer by signing him.”

Everyone around the club will tell you that the summer signing has been disappointing, and this is a normal thing. But with the anticipation that came with his arrival and the fact that the Whites are paying him a lot, it comes with expectations.

Just one goal involvement so far is not a great look for the player or the recruitment team. Wilson should be the one delivering chances from open play and set pieces. Now that the team seems to be struggling to put anything on goal, the focus will shift to the Welsh midfielder.

Daniel Farke has to sit down and try to understand what is going on with the Leeds attack as a whole. The draws are accumulating, and while the defensive solidity shown at Sunderland is encouraging, the lack of cutting edge at the other end is becoming a genuine concern.

Leeds supporters will be hoping Wilson and his attacking teammates can find their rhythm soon, otherwise the pressure on both the player and the manager will only intensify in the weeks ahead.
